One Open ChallengeSingapore's Green Story · 3 of 936 km Coast to CoastNParks' Coast-to-Coast Trail opened in 2019, winding 36 km from Jurong Lake Gardens to Coney Island. Our 360 km Complete-the-Network finish line is a tribute to it — ten times over.

One open challenge.
Three milestones to chase.

There’s no distance to pick — everyone joins the same single challenge. These aren’t separate categories; they’re milestones you unlock as your kilometres add up. Walk or run as far as you can in 45 days, and every marker you pass earns its own badge and finisher title.

One registration covers all three. You don’t choose 36, 150 or 360 km at sign-up — you register once, then chase as many milestones as you can before the 45 days are up.

Why Singapore moves with us.

Voices and faces from past editions of the Singapore City in Nature Challenge.

"Joined the very first edition on a whim and surprised myself past 100 km — completely hooked. That giant Singapore-shaped medal is still the biggest one on my shelf."
RTRachel TanTampines · 1st Edition
"As a casual walker I never imagined I'd 'cross the island' — but one kilometre a day felt so doable. My evening loops around the reservoir quietly became the best part of my day."
SRSiti RahmahJurong West · 2nd Edition
"We joined as an office team for the CSR, and it turned into a daily step war on our WhatsApp group. Morale went up — and the impact report looked great in our ESG update."

Fair Play

What counts.

Keep it real, keep it fair. Every submission is screened by the Heymetriq™ Engine — our automated integrity system that evaluates each activity against the challenge’s performance parameters in real time and filters out anything that falls outside them. Here’s what makes an activity valid.

Min. 0.5 km per activity

Anything shorter than 0.5 km doesn't count toward your cumulative total.

At least 1 minute

An activity must last 60 seconds or more to be recorded.

Move, don't ride

Pace must be plausible for walking, running or hiking. Vehicle-speed entries are rejected.

Keep it moving

Sessions below a genuine walking pace, or long idle/paused time, may not be counted.

Show the details

Your screenshot should clearly capture the activity's distance and duration (date optional).

One entry each

Every activity counts once. Overlapping or duplicate uploads are automatically removed.

Uploads are auto-checked on submission; anything outside these limits is flagged as invalid and rejected. Full terms and the complete activity policy are provided at registration.

Got Questions?

Before you lace up.

Do I have to finish all 360 km?+

Not at all — 36 km (Cross the Island) is the first finisher milestone, just ~0.8 km a day. The 150 km and 360 km tiers are optional stretch goals. Any milestone reached within the 45-day window earns its badge and title.

Can I walk instead of run?+

Absolutely. Walking and running both count, anywhere in the world, on any route you love. It's a cumulative challenge — your daily kampong walk counts as much as a tempo run.

When do I receive my race pack?+

Race packs ship in waves starting end-October 2026, in order of registration. Register early to get your gear before flag-off on World Cities Day. Flat S$4.99 delivery within Singapore, free above S$50.

How do I submit my activity?+

Log in to your Heyrace account and upload a screenshot of your activity. Every submission is validated automatically by the Heymetriq™ Engine.

Is this open to participants outside Singapore?+

Yes — the challenge is virtual, so you can log kilometres from anywhere. International shipping rates for entitlements are calculated at checkout.
